AMCOL Systems' Charitable RecapColumbia, SC – (March 5, 2019) – The employees of AMCOL Systems, Inc., a nationally recognized leader in patient experience analytics and revenue cycle optimization, have once again generously given back to their surrounding communities. Every year AMCOL Systems continues to exhibit its deeply-rooted passion for philanthropy that has been evident since its inception over 40 years ago. Employees voluntarily donate a manageable amount from each paycheck to a separate Care to Share fund. Each quarter, these employees vote to decide which organizations will receive donations from this fund. The last two quarters, employees have chosen to support charities such as Pawmetto Lifeline (animal rescue/welfare dedicated to solving pet overpopulation in the Midlands), Sistercare (providing services and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and their children), Harvest Hope Food Bank, Make-A-Wish South Carolina, and USO of South Carolina. The employees of AMCOL Systems also took action to make a difference in their communities. AMCOL is a proud corporate sponsor of Make-A-Wish South Carolina and JDRF Palmetto Chapter (T1 Diabetes Research) as well as Columbia’s Greek Festival at which AMCOL employees volunteered hundreds of man-hours working and staffing the festival, that generated $64,000 for area charities. In the office, the employees came together to support collecting school supplies for a United Way of the Midlands campaign (addressing education, financial stability, and health needs of the community), a sock drive for the Oliver Gospel Mission (providing supplies and services for homeless men in the area), and a pet food drive for Pawmetto Lifeline. Two employees even adopted pets of their own to show their avid support. Additionally, a group of employees regularly volunteer their lunch hour feeding the homeless at Transitions Homeless Center. “It is inspiring to see the depth of care for our community that this team displays in their daily activities,” said President and CEO of AMCOL Systems, Chip Hellmann. “Our employees show their desire to help others in their work for AMCOL Systems, as well as their countless charitable acts throughout the community.”
