Technology

We hear it time and time again, “AMCOL Systems is years ahead of the competition in the technology they use.” Technology that allows our clients to accelerate cash flow and resolve patient accounts quickly, within all compliance standards with a high degree of customer service in interactions with your customers. Our seamless service integration and flawless exchanges of information are a testament to our dedication to quality.

AMCOL Systems maintains the ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management System certification.  This internationally recognized certification serves as proof of AMCOL’s commitment to the security of the confidential information that is provided to us by our clients.

 ISO/IEC 27001 requires that management:

  • Systematically examine the organization's information security risks, taking account of the threats, vulnerabilities and impacts;

  • Design and implement a coherent and comprehensive suite of information security controls and/or other forms of risk treatment (such as risk avoidance or risk transfer) to address those risks that are deemed unacceptable; and

  • Adopt an overarching management process to ensure that the information security controls continue to meet the organization's information security needs on an ongoing basis.

Quality control is the responsibility of all of our employees, not just our IS staff, Compliance Director, or Executive Management, to maintain a high level of security awareness and a commitment to compliance with our security policies and procedures. As part of maintaining this certification, annual third party audits are performed to ensure the continual maintenance of all ISO 27001 information security controls.

To increase and maintain corporate-wide quality assurance processes, AMCOL Systems sought Professional Practice Management System (PPMS) certification. PPMS certification is awarded by ACA International, the professional trade association of our industry.

PPMS is a management system for collection agencies based upon developing, implementing, and adhering to a set of industry specific professional practices and policies. PPMS focuses on how a company demonstrates continuous improvement and how it is managed and run. Agencies using PPMS can cut down on the number of mistakes made, increase communication among departments, and handle client issues in a more efficient and professional manner.

There are fewer than 70 PPMS certified agencies in the U.S. There are more than 3,600 ACA member agencies.

In today's highly federal and state regulated business environment, you have to be sure your business partner is mitigating risk factors with maximum control. When partnering with AMCOL, you can be assured of that.
